Reason for SCIS:
I’ve never run a marathon for a charity, but what better way to start than for a great cause. In medical school, I’ve been to some of the rehab floors and helped take care of spinal cord injury patients. Experiencing this first-hand has made me realize how much spinal cord injuries truly do suck. While some research and progress has been done, much more is needed to get to the ultimate goal of walking once again. Please join me and the rest of the team in supporting SCIS’s efforts.
