Support Aly Carr in the 2011 Chicago Marathon

Marathon Time Goal:

Finish without incident

Reason for SCIS:

I am so fortunate that Team SCIS let me join so late in the game and I am completely humbled to be able to run my first marathon for an organization so near and dear to my heart. The first time I saw Geoff compete was the 2008 Chicago Marathon and it was such a rush to see him fly down Broadway St. He was kicking butt! Ever since then I have wanted to be on the other side of those fences running along side the other marathoners. If you have ever had the chance to meet Geoff you can't help but be influenced by his enthusiasm, sense of humor and zest to make this world a better place. I have learned a ton about spinal chord injuries because of this charity and the message is so hopeful that I want to bring that same positivity to running this thing! GO TEAM SCIS...See you kids at the finish line!
