I'm running the marathon to contribute to a worthy cause. I also believe it's important to set fitness goals and aspire to achieve them. This will be my first marathon. I've run mainly for recreation and sometimes competitively - when pride is on the line - for 7 years. I've known Geoff since my birth and have always admired his competitive zeal and determination. It's a great opportunity to recognize and support that same spirit in spinal cord injury research.
